Why are sequences excluded from a Demand Gen Agent campaign?

Sequences are excluded from a campaign if the sequence sender is different from the account owner.

Context

When running a Demand Gen Agent campaign, you may notice that certain sequences are marked as excluded. This occurs when there is a mismatch between the person sending the sequence and the designated owner of the associated account.

Product Behavior

By default, the system excludes sequences where the sender is not the account owner, regardless of who triggered or started the sequence. For example, if an account is owned by one team member but the sequence sender is a different team member, that sequence will be excluded from the campaign.

How to Resolve

If you want to run campaigns without restricting them by account ownership, you can adjust your campaign settings:

1. Open your campaign settings.
2. Enable the option Allow non-account-owner campaigns.

Once this setting is enabled, the system will allow sequences to run even if the sender does not match the account owner.
