Adding links to your follow up emails and nudges
Last updated: July 23, 2026
When a prospect asks for your pricing page or a case study on a call, the follow-up should already have it. Variables make that happen. Save your team's go-to links once, and Monaco drops the right one into the draft when the moment calls for it.
What a variable is
A variable is a reusable snippet your whole team shares, usually a link you send over and over. Set it once, and it stays current everywhere it's used.
Common examples:
Variable | Value |
|---|---|
Booking link |
|
Case study |
|
Pricing |
|
One-pager |
|
How to add your variables
Go to Settings → Variables.
Click Add variable.
Give it a short name (letters, numbers, and underscores) and paste the value.
Save. It's live for the whole team right away.
Update a link in one place and every future draft uses the new one.
Where they show up
In AI drafts: when a prospect asks for something on a call, or you promised it, Monaco pulls the matching link into the follow-up, in the right sentence.
In templates: drop
{{org.your_variable}}into a sequence or email template and it's replaced with the value at send time.
Good to know
Used only when it fits. Monaco adds a link when the prospect asked or you promised it. It never dumps links or invents one.
If nothing in the conversation warranted a link, none is added and your draft reads exactly as it would otherwise.
Variables are shared across your team, so everyone sends the same correct links.
